The biggest event of the season for the OK and OK Junior classes is just around the corner: from Thursday, September 11 to Sunday, September 14, the FIA World Championship will light up the Kristianstad track in Sweden.

All the top teams – and above all, the fastest, most competitive drivers in direct-drive karting – will battle it out in an event that could define a career and shape futures. A World Championship has always been the ultimate showcase, opening doors to the next steps in motorsport. That’s why preparation has been intense and the pressure sky-high for these young talents heading into this international showdown.

Kristianstad is a quick, technical track that guarantees pure spectacle for fans both at the circuit and tuning in via live stream. Weather could play a decisive role, and as always with a one-shot event, there’s absolutely no room for mistakes.

CRG Racing Team comes fully prepared, with 7 drivers on the official entry list. In OK Junior, Asher Ochstein and Manuel Miguez (both with Iame engines) will be chasing the spotlight. In OK Senior, CRG lines up with Viktor Gustavsson, Davide Bottaro, and Christian Mosimann (TM engines), alongside Clovis Nougueyrede and Olin Galli (Iame engines).

The event schedule kicks off Thursday with free practice. From Friday, qualifying begins – first the timed sessions, then the heat races running through Saturday afternoon. Sunday is the grand finale: Super Heats in the morning, followed by the Finals in the afternoon. Only the top 36 in each category will make the cut from the 217 drivers entered, and the winners will be crowned 2025 World Champions.

To keep fans connected, CRG will share paddock updates across its social channels, while live streaming starts Friday on www.fiakarting.com.

CRG Team Principal Jeremy Iglesias previewed the challenge:
“We wrapped up a solid program last weekend at the COTF race, which gave us the best possible prep for this huge event. We know qualifying will be a key moment, so we’ve worked hard to give our drivers the best feeling for those two crucial flying laps. At the same time, our race pace looks strong in both categories, and I’ve seen the drivers confident they can deliver a great weekend. Of course, we’re hoping for dry weather, because rain could really shake things up in a one-off championship. We’ll be laser-focused on every detail to avoid mistakes that could derail our path to the Finals. I have to say, our chassis once again proved it works brilliantly here in Sweden with standard setups, and with both TM and Iame engines, we’ve had excellent feedback.”
