FIA has published the new racing calendar for the 2022 karting season. The decision was taken during the Federation’s second annual conference, the World Motor Sport Council, which took place in Monaco yesterday, Thursday 8th July 2021.

The most important novelties are related to the choice of having the final of the European Championship taking place in Italy, at the Franciacorta racetrack, but also the great return to the calendar of Sarno, which will host the OK-OKJ World Championship and Le Mans for the World Championship KZ-KZ2. The Portimao appointment for the OK-OKJ classes has also been confirmed: here the drivers will fight against each other for their first race of the season, right on the same track that hosted the World Championships in 2020.

The FIA races are the most important meetings for international karting and are a mandatory stop for the professional drivers of the future. CRG will be there in all classes, placing these events at the center of its competitive activity.

At the same time FIA has also confirmed a change of date for the OK-OKJ World Championship, due to take place on the Birigui track, initially scheduled for the end of October in Brazil and now planned to happen from 2-5 December 2021.
