The 3rd round of the WSK Euro Series is taking place this weekend with the KZ drivers lined up to prepare for the event in September
An important participation of teams and drivers on the Lonato track this weekend, where the 3rd round of the WSK Euro Series is taking place. This track usually attracts a high number of drivers, but this weekend it will be a particularly interesting and useful race, especially for the KZ category. In fact, in September the KZ World Championship and the KZ2 World Cup will race on this track, the most important events of the season for the Shifter classes. The CRG Racing Team will be on track to make an important work and prepare for this event in KZ2, both with Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG – Iame) and Paolo De Conto (CRG – TM). Both of them will work to collect data both regarding the chassis and the engines, with their respective technical partners, also looking for a result after the bad luck of the last races of the European Championship. The race in Lonato will be a good occasion for Trulli as well, in the OK Junior, in order to prepare for the last races of the European Championship, whilst in OK the Thai driver Metheevuttikorn will make his debut with the CRG official team. The qualifying practices are scheduled on Friday afternoon, followed by the first heats that will continue on Saturday. The Finals will be on Sunday afternoon.
