The 2025 24 Hours Karting of Italy confirmed the effectiveness of Marline alkylate fuel for the 4-stroke engines that equip the CRG Rental line karts used in the race. The partnership between the French company and CRG that began last year has met with great approval from the drivers and many positive indicators also in the 2025 edition.

First of all, the performance of the engines was stable throughout the event, both during the day and during the night with very different temperatures and humidity. CRG technicians also recorded the absence of residues in the combustion chamber of the engines and this factor, if compared to the prolonged use that 4-stroke engines must withstand on Rental tracks, translates into a significantly longer life of the engines themselves with the use of alkylated fuel. Some analyses indicate at least 20% longer life of the engines; so, it means that if on average a 4-stroke engine in a Rental fleet has a lifespan of 1000 hours, with Marline petrol you can get up to 1200 hours of use. This is therefore an economic saving that can be added to the savings on consumption, since alkylate petrol allows a consumption of about 15% less than traditional leaded petrol.

Finally, it is worth mentioning the ecological factor of Marline petrol, which thanks to its reduced emissions is the greenest kart fuel on the market. For all those involved in the sector, this prerogative means polluting up to 70% less and breathing clean air even when in close contact with karts. This aspect is particularly important for indoor tracks, but also in an event like the 24-hour karting event organised by CRG where over 5,000 litres of petrol are consumed and in all events with many participants, this prerogative is very important and appreciated. In conclusion of the event, therefore, the use of Marline petrol in the race was still a great success from all points of view.
