From July 23 to 26 (Finals scheduled for Saturday), the OK Junior and OK categories will take part in the 4th and final round of the Champions of the Future in Denmark, at the Rodby circuit. This event will serve as a prelude to the FIA European Championship on August 3, so teams and drivers will be based in Denmark’s Zealand region for 15 days.

The CRG Racing Team will bring back Viktor Gustafsson for his second appearance of the season in the OK category, following the Swedish driver’s excellent weekend in Spain. The goal is to continue development work with TM engines, alongside CRG drivers using Iame engines—namely Davide Bottaro, Maria Neto, and Clovis Nougueyrede in the top class.

In the OK Junior category, Manuel Miguez will represent CRG. These final commitments before the Summer Break will be important from a technical perspective to evaluate the updates introduced by the team last month and will provide useful insights as they begin preparations for the OK and OK Junior World Championship to be held in Sweden. The conditions expected at Rodby—especially in terms of temperatures and track grip—are potentially similar to those predicted for September in Sweden, making this double race weekend particularly useful looking ahead.

Naturally, the entire team will aim for a strong sporting result, which, after last week’s very positive testing, seems within reach. This week’s meeting schedule will kick off with free practice on Wednesday, while the Finals will be held on Saturday.

CRG Team Principal Jeremy Iglesias introduces the event this way:

“For this week’s race, we’ve brought some chassis updates and will also have an intense engine testing program. From this perspective, Viktor’s experience will be very helpful in making all the necessary evaluations. Like all our competitors, we’ll use this Champions of the Future race to prepare for next week’s European Championship event, where we aim to improve our standings and get a good result before the summer break. The tests we carried out here last week were positive and gave us good indications for both the OK Junior and OK categories.”
