Engines are roaring to life at the Franciacorta circuit in Italy for Round 1 of the WSK Final, the international meeting that, as tradition dictates, closes the karting season. There will be three events on the calendar: the opening race this weekend in Franciacorta, followed by Round 2 in Cremona on November 9th, and the final round in Lonato on November 23rd. This Series is particularly important for teams as it serves as a prelude to the 2026 season, following the conclusion of the 2025 racing year, which effectively ended with the FIA World Championship.

The CRG Racing Team will be on track with its full MINI lineup, fielding six drivers in the MINI U10 category and five in MINI Gr3. Two drivers will also compete in OKN Junior (Leon Chelidze, making his debut after an excellent season in MINI, and Matteis Stigsen) both managed by CRG’s in-house Junior Team. Meanwhile, the official factory team will focus on two OKJ drivers in preparation for the 2026 season: brothers Iason and Nefeli Kosmopoulos.

The event will follow the traditional WSK format, with qualifying practice scheduled for Friday, followed by the qualifying heats on Saturday. The Super Heats and Finals will take place on Sunday and will be streamed live on the promoter’s website (www.wskarting.it). Over 350 drivers divided into six categories are entered in this end-of-season Series — a must-see event for all karting enthusiasts, especially since entry to the circuit will be free.
