It will be sold out, but most of all the 2021 edition of the 24 Hours Karting of Italy, scheduled in Adria for the 5th and 6th June, will be amazing. 40 crews will compete on the track with the CRG Centurions provided by CRG, the factory that has been organizing and managing this important event for 4 years in collaboration with the Adria Raceway, which has become a key happening for the world of endurance karting.

The official entry list is made of 40 registered teams from 12 different countries and it includes many of the strongest squads in the world in this exciting discipline of competitive karting. As usual, CRG will supply the teams with CRG Centurion karts equipped with a new 390cc Honda engine and will also take care of the technical assistance.

The race format will include 1H 30 ‘of free practice on Saturday, 10 minutes of qualifying practice and at 2 PM the start of the race with the traditional Le Mans-style procedure. The race is scheduled to finish on Sunday at 2.00 PM, after about 1300 laps and over 1600 km.

The event can count on an extensive live streaming coverage available on the CRG Factory YouTube channel and on CRG’s official social networks. The live broadcast includes commentary on the action on the track, the updating of the rankings also with graphics and a studio that will be set up to interview the protagonists of the race, drivers and team managers. To follow the event, the live timing service link will also be available on CRG’s social channels.

There will be two categories in the competition: the PRO which identifies the most professional teams and the SILVER for the most amateur ones. The regulation leaves much room for strategies by imposing a few simple rules: 30 mandatory changes for PRO teams and 35 changes for Silver teams, in addition to a maximum of 7 hours driving per driver during the race (minimum 1 hour).

The team to beat will be BAC PKI coordinated on the track by Denis Furlan, winner of the last edition, as well as among the Silver crews the reference point will be the winning team in 2020, Tutela Legale. For both categories the podium will be expected immediately at the end of the race for the top 3.

We would like to remember that the event will take place in compliance with the Covid protocols, so access to the circuit will be limited to teams and team managers and will take place behind closed doors, which means without public. In addition, masks will be mandatory in every area of the track and to avoid gatherings of people the main bar will be closed and a refreshment point (open 24 hours) will be at the participants’ disposal directly in the pit area.
